We have a brand new, never used Battery Charger Module for an MGE Comet 50 to150 KVA Series Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Battery Backups. Part # 72-164007-03 This Battery Charging Module is a Rev Level 3, meaning that the heat sink and the on board Fan have been modified and over sized by the MGE Factory to prevent over heating issues from previous Revisions in the past. This Module is new, the customer we purchased it for decided to purchase a larger UPS System to accommodate for future growth in their Data Center. We tested this Module Directly in an MGE Comet 150 KVA UPS System with 2 strings of 36 batteries and it works very well, and is fully capable of charging up to four Strings of Lead Acid Batteries for your Battery Backups System quickly and efficiently. This is a very simple installation process for this Module, four screws, three connectors and a ribbon cable and you are done.

2 Matching MGE 100 KVA Comet UPS Systems

Two professionally-maintained, 100KVA MGE Comet UPSs (now APC by Schneider Electric) available at a screaming deal. In addition to the main UPS cabinet, each unit comes with an Internal Maintenance Bypass. The units also each come with a main battery-disconnect breaker in each Battery Cabinet. Each unit lists for nearly $60K new , but are being brought to you at a fraction of that price. The technician told me that these units are easily worth double the price at which they are being made available here. We checked the price of similar sized units on eBay and you will see what he meant.

These units served as the main backup units for the primary data servers at a data center and were properly maintained with quarterly maintenance. They were pulled from service just last week due to an increase in load requirements in the data center with new equipment and are in perfect working order and kept in dry, cool storage since then. They were put in service in 200 and worked flawlessly until replaced. Their maintenance history is well-documented since new, and I can put serious buyers in contact with the system administrator at the Data Center and/or the service technician who maintained the units for MGE. According to both the service technician and the system administrator, these units are barely used. NOTE: The MGE Comet UPS Systems come with matching battery cabinets. The Data center had outgrown the capacity of these units and sacrificed them to install much bigger units (300KVA units). Their loss is your gain. We offer you today a very clean and well maintained Liebert Npower 40 KVA UPS System with two matching Battery Cabinets. ( NOTE: Batteries not included and can be purchased at a discounted rate) This UPS System has been maintained with annual and semi annual preventive maintenance.
